Any tips, tricks or special tools to install a Horn Button Wire in a 1940 Ford with Steering Column and Steering Box installed in the car with the Steering Wheel removed.

Use a .040" or smaller diameter steel wire of sufficient length (8' to 10') tightly wrapped around and taped to the end of the horn wire to pull it up from the bottom of the steering column. You will be able to push the hard wire up through the steering box and column to the top of the column. Once the upper end of the hard wire protrudes from the top of the column, gently pull it up and the soft horn wire will follow it up into place.
