EDIT: Sorry all. I did not realize it had posted this when I tried earlier. Now I don't know how to delete this one. If you have an answer, please go see my previous post which I have also included photos to. Thanks! I recently bought my first early ford car, it is a 1934 ford cabriolet. The car is 90 percent restored and I am trying to finish it. I hope some of you guys can help me out with my questions. question 1. I need outside rearview mirrors. Did ford make them and if they didn't do you have a recommendation for a cabriolet? question 2. My passenger window does not roll up and down without a lot of assistance using both hands. Where can I buy a new or good used regulator? question 3. the previous owner had converted from 6-volt generator to 12-volt alternator. My alternator looks like a single wire GM with a pulley on the end. It makes a lot of fan wind noise going down the road. I am told the pulley has to be smaller for the alternator to turn fast enough to make correct power. also, the alternator makes strange noises that I think may be due to the horizontal pull the fan puts on the bearings that it was not designed for. My question is, will I have to convert to electric fan to solve my issues and if so, what you recommend. This message was edited by tnctyboy on 11-10-24 @ 1:08 PM
