I tried contacting Skip and I got no reply I was wondering if there was a problem or if he was still in business
Have a water pump problem
For years now I had a shaking in the car I thought it was flat spots in the tires and I did a little checkering it seems like the left side water pump is wobbling and it’s not that old is actually vibrates the car especially above 40
I think this was happening. For a few years but could not put my finger on it
It got much worst this year
So I am not going to use it for the season
I am Afraid that something will happen
Were is the best place to find replacements
I was thinking SPEEDWAY
any other Recommendations
Thanks regards

I bought a pair of water pumps for my '53 Ford V-8 from Dennis Carpenter several years ago and put 15K miles on them with no problems.

You can look at the ones for your car here.

Got the pumps for my "46, 59AB at DC as well, and lots of miles on them over the last seven years. I noticed that the cast housing, in the area of the mounting bolt holes, was a little rough, so I spot faced those areas with an end mill bit in my drill press. I run 180 stats with 50/50 coolant, and the temp will sometimes go to 185 if I'm moving in slow traffic.

For a replacement water pump, try Speedway Motors, RockAuto, or Summit Racing. Also, check local auto parts stores or classic car specialty shops. Join classic car forums for advice and recommendations. Avoid driving until the issue is fixed to prevent further damage.

Try to contact Skip in the morning or eve. He stands behind his work. I have never seen a water pump wobble. Is the pulley and shaft loose?

Try "Skip" Haney @ 941-505-9085. I have two of his coils still running strong after 20 years.
I also have about 10 good water pumps 1933=1936 and one that leaks. Was saving them to send to
Skip, but now I'll sell them all. (At least 8)

1934 Ford's since 1972
