Working on a 1952 Ford Customline Club Coupe. I have it running now, replaced the rotted floor, doing rewiring, etc. I have a problem with the hood and I'm not sure what the cause is. This hood opens and shuts and latches like it should except that the rear corners don't close down. I see from online photos of similar project vehicles that this is a somewhat common(?) problem. Has anyone fixed a similar issue? Would the problem lie with the coil spring or the clock spring or something else? I have greased everything liberally and exercised the hood many times to no avail. Help?
