I was looking for a Temperature gauge, FAB-10883-C for my 1953 Ford on the web site. I received a message from Joseph Williams to contact King Hilary at Hpullapart@yahoo.com. I did and he came back with 3 pictures of the gauge and wanted $40 bucks for it plus shipping. After some discussion on how to pay I sent $50 dollars on PayPal to JoeClaybrion@gmail.com. Since I paid for the gauge the website is no longer working and no response from him. I did hear from Joseph Williams a couple of times and said he would try to contact him. The address for Joe was ; 10317 Bainbridge St. ,Houston, TX 77016. I haven't heard from either one of them nor did I get my gauge. I wrote the Editor of the Houston newsletter but never heard back from him. It's not the $50 bucks it's the deceitful way to mislead an old Ford person.

Hopefully you didn't use Friends and Family. If you did then you're out the 50 bucks. But if you used regular PayPal then contact them so you can get your money back. That said, NEVER EVER use Friends and Family for any purchases unless you really know the person you're sending the money to. JMO ______________ No signature

These crooks are always roaming the websites and looking to scam someone. One of the ways you can check the person is to see if they are a V-8 Club member in your roster. Not 100% foolproof, but close. I suspect the address given was a P.O. box place.
