Hello, this is my first post. I was fortunate to purchase a survivor 1935 Ford, model 48. When the car was delivered today I wasn’t paying attention when the owner opened the hood. I have a 1929 Ford Roadster, and a long time “Ford Guy”, so feel kind of dumb asking such a basic question! Thank you, Frank

There are two levers on each hood side. Carefully push them down as you pull outward on the hood side. Ken

When you open the hood there are detents on the body. The hood will have rubber covered ends and the end of the hood will fit into the body detent.
