I'm going to attempt to replace passenger side running board on my 1948 2dr sedan ,Has anyone done it lately and would like to share any ideas You can't get at some of the nuts on upper part of running board, Johna

John, many of the nuts are not accessible. They are square nuts held within cages inside of the rockers. What you are most likely to encounter is the breaking of many bolts. Or the square nut will rotate within the cage. Many guys that are not doing a restoration, cut access holes in the rocker to access the cage and when reassembling, simply use a lock washer and hex nut. Mike "Kube" Kubarth
