Upgrading to sealed beam on my 12v "36 pickup. I seem to have all necessary pieces but, having difficulty getting all the pieces to snap together easily. Wondering if I have mismatched parts. And what tis the purpose of those springs behind each screw mounting the seat for the lamp? , are they a tension mechanism? I have them compressed all the way down. All inquiries welcome. Steve

I can't comment about whether you have the correct parts or not, but the springs behind the screws are there to adjust and aim the headlight bulbs.
