I purchased a disassembled 59A Flathead. I was checking the camshaft and found markings Isky 88-111-77B. The car is mostly stock and I am not looking to race or build a hot rod. I just want to be sure before assembly. Thanks!

That is a mild (3/4 Racing) cam. It will give you a slight lope at idle and lower than stock vacuum readings. It will give you a little more horsepower and a faster throttle response. Most people will not notice the difference at idle, but you will notice the performance improvement. Tom
