I read the article in the Jan/Feb 2023 V8 Times and would like to add some additional information. Additionally, I know the current location of Gable's "almost" car. Bill, you can check with the V-8 Times editor, but I believe Mr. DeAdder only submitted the original article that was taken from Ford Life magazine. I don 't think he added to the original article. The V-8 Times editor is Shannon Olson and you can e-mail her at v8timeseditor@gmail.com. Here's a color photo of the '36 Jensen Ford which appears on page 87 of the January February 2023 V8 Times. This was taken in Auburn Indiana at the 2011 Central National Meet, which was part of the club's 1936 Ford 75th anniversary celebrations.
