Happy belated Thanksgiving, This part (pictured herein) was included with the boxes and baskets of parts for my 1940 Ford.It's a timing case cover for some engine; don't what engine, or even if it's for a Ford. It's certainly not like the one on my 85 HP flathead. And it's not like the one pictured in Mike Kubart's book. Anyone know to what it belongs? I did not find any identifying numbers. Thanks, Barney

It is a cast iron timing cover for an 8BA style flathead. '48 truck/'49 car to '53 in US, thru '54 in Canada.
