I’m putting a new top on my 1936 Ford Roadster and I am in search of the convertible top tack strip that attached the rear of the cloth top to the body. The original I believe was a fiber material about 1/4" thick and 5/8" tall that wrapped around the flange that encircles the rear opening to the body. It might have scr*w*d of riveted in place and the top material I believe was stapled to it. My car didn’t have one when I got it so I am kind of guessing here. Can anyone help me fond one? Or offer a replacement idea?

Modern tack strip is nylon. Holds staples better than the old woven stuff and won't absorb moisture. Any upholstery trim supply place sells it by the foot in various sizes. It was originally fastened to the body with nails. I use rivets, every 3". Mike "Kube" Kubarth
