Does any one have a opinion on going from a three core radiator
to a four core would it cool much better . Shoe box central sells USA made radiators.
And has any done this.

The cooling is done as heat is transferred from the tube thru the fins. In copper/ brass radiators, most are either 5/8" or 3/4". The larger tube has more fin/tube contact. A four row with 5/8 tubes might not be as efficient as a three row that has 3/4" tubes. More rows creates more resistance to air passing through. Some aluminum radiator cores have 1 1/4" tubes. Look for the largest tubes in the radiator you buy.

I had very good luck with an aluminum radiator with two 1 1/4" rows for many years and running an A/C, too. Never overheated.
