Currently, the wire loom is draped loosely over the gas tank from the driver’s side “Y” to the passenger side; the lack of fastening of any kind clearly can’t be right - at the very least, a portion of the loom may contact the exhaust. Would greatly appreciate the forum’s help. Thank you.

There should be metal clips that hold the crossover harness to the lip of the gas tank.
