Hello Friends! My '36 Phaeton is essentially a barn find. I'm keeping it as original as possible. I took it to an auto electrician to have the heater checked out. Word is, the 6-volt motor is shot. There's one on eBay but, by the description, it seems suspect too. Are replacement motors available? If so, could someone send me a link? There are plenty of motors out there, but they're listed for later years and different models. Might these work? Thanks so Much! John

Your best bet might be to have your original blower motor rebuilt by a competent motor rebuilding shop.

There were many aftermarket manufacturers of car heaters in this time period. If your heater is a hot water heater with an electric blower, it is most likely from a later model car or an aftermarket heater. You can post a picture of the heater on here for assistance with identifying what is installed in your car. Good luck with your search.
