I am replacing my '36 with a circuit breaker. I have two types to chose from. Is there a difference? Tom

Use separate breakers for the lighting accessories, and ignition. Don't put a breaker in the charging circuit between the generator and the voltage regulator. The original Ford "circuit breaker" was used only for the headlights. When a short appeared, the breaker would "buzz" but allow enough light to get home. When we install breakers we use the button reset type of 20-30 amps. Using fuses can strand you.
