What are these? What size rim do they fit? How do they attach? I bought these for a 1952 Sedan Delivery I was going to restore. I never did. The rings are 3-inches wide. outside diameter is 17-inches. The inside diameter is 11 ½-inches. I am including pictures of the trim rings, the back of one ring and the ring with a 1952 hubcap in it. I’m trying to determine what size rim they would fit. (I’m thinking 17-inch) and how they attach to the rim. Maybe they clip onto the outside edge of the rim? Can anyone help answer my questions?

Not sure of the rim size, but I suspect the hub cap holds them on to the wheel.

I don't think the hubcap holds these on. If you look closely at the picture of the rim and hubcap, you'll see a gap between the hubcap and the trim ring. The two don't touch. When installed, there would be a 1/4-inch gap between the trim ring and the hubcap. I still think the outside lip snaps onto the outer edge of the tire rim. I don't have a 17-inch rim to try it on.
