What are gaskets made of ? example water pump gaskets,also where can I purchase the material to make my own gasket's?Thanks.

Differing applications require different materials. Water pump gaskets are normally paper. Material can be purchased at any good parts store. NAPA. Normally sold by the foot in a variety of thicknesses.
