I have a set of top irons, but I can't figure out how they attach or work, or if they are the correct ones. Is there any information, sketches, photos or other information that can help me? Thanks

Post some photos of the top irons. They typically attach to the back of the B pillar and the area around the heavy belt rail in the rear, on both sides of the car.
