Has anyone done this conversion, it seems that there is a problem with the lower cover for the bell housing. The old one has 3 bolts on the pan, the truck does not. Is there a different cover that must be used or modification to be made. Any help would go a long way to prevent scr*w*ng it up

I believe that you have a starter plate for a mercury oil pan and a truck oil pan. go to van pelts website and see his diagrams
