I have a pair of 1935 horns that I have not tested to see if they work. I haven't even taken the original Spartan covers off. What is a good way to see if they work without damaging them? Eventually, I plan to use them in a 12V negative ground system. I read somewhere that they can run on 12V without hurting them, but I would like others to confirm that. If the motors are not usable, are there other years that used the same Spartan motor? Or, can anyone recommend someone who can rebuild/repair them? Thanks for the help. Jerry.
