Hard to find anyone in my area to work on flathead engines , i live in contra costa county if anyone knows of any shop out this way or anyone

hi if you are a member of the EARLY FORD CLUB in your area, they might know some one or better yet, maybe make it a club members would get together and help making it a club function, so everybody learns, hope this helps 37Ragtopman,

You have Morgan’s in Walnut Creek. Also A very good machine shop in Hayward that has a lot of experience in all Ford engines from 1909 up is Hubbard’s in Hayward. Well worth the 30 mile trip for you. I get all my engine boring done there. Valve seat work too. They were pretty backed up with work last time I was there but worth giving them a try. I would volunteer but I have four engines to do and all four I have to install with other work.
