Topic: 1939 Ford Deluxe Sedan Delivery

How many were made? I saw a supposedly factory picture of one and it looked like a 40 Sedan Delivery with a 39 Deluxe front end. The V8 club yearly index recognizes a number for a 39 Standard but not a Deluxe. Since Murray built the Standard body (essentially the same from 35-39) and Lincoln built the 40 SD bodies, did/would Lincoln built a small number of Deluxe bodies in the 39 model year?

According to George H. Dammann's book, "90 Years Of Ford", there were no 1939 Ford Deluxe Sedan Deliveries made. All 1939 models were built in the Standard series trim. Briggs built the bodies for all 2,809 of these little trucks.
