Removed dashboard on my 34 ford coupe, to clean and remove rust; in removing it, I found some short pieces of webbing above the speedometer area. Should there be some webbing all across the top of the dashboard and sides. If so, is it thin webbing or gasket type paper? Also, have the original gas and amp meters, but not sure if it is possible to have these restored. If so, know of anyone who restores this old meters. I'm considering on keeping the original speedometer and go with late meters for the gas, volts, temp and oil. Any comments appreciated. GOT IT!! Found thin webbing to use on the areas above the instrument area and above the glovebox compartment. Thanks for taking time out to read my discussion question.
