1953 Customline in line 6 cylinder water pump rebuild kit or replacement. It seems all the available pumps are for 1954 and later models. Do they fit the 1953 engines?

According to the C&G website they have the water pump for the 1953 Ford 215 cu.in. 6 cylinder engine under part number B2A-8501-A. The 1954 & later 223 cu.in. 6 cylinder engines take part number B6C-8501-CN which they also have. Since two different part numbers are called out, the 1954 part will most likely not fit the 1953 engine.
