Tony The wire from the dome light runs forward alongside one of the roof slats to the header over the windshield then over through the hollow metal header to the right door post where it drops down to the cowl and connects to the cowl wiring harness. Unless you have the roof of the car disassembled this wire is probably almost impossible to get at to replace. Ted
