On my '35 I have a hot water heater. Currently, the car is in dry storage up on jacks and not driven. There are two lengths of 5/8"hose that connect to the heater, one from the upper radiator inlet and one to the lower radiator outlet. Both hoses are relativity new and are from the same stock. The cooling system is not under any radiator pressure. Clamps are been checked and replaced. The top hose is dry to the touch. The lower hose feels "greasy" to the touch. There are no apparent antifreeze leaks or sources of oil slinging. The level of the antifreeze in the radiator seems constant. No leaking at the heater connections. If I dry everything off, it will come back in a few days. Is it possible for a heater hose to seep coolant through the hose skin? I suspect what you are seeing is condensation from temperature fluctuations. It is most noticeable when there is a large temperature difference between an object and the atmosphere....

Mg- I thought about what you suggested regarding condensation. If that was the problem I would think it would be found on both hoses, not just one. Thanks for the response. Tom

the hose is beginning to show its age, time to change them both. It is degrading internally and that causes the weeping
