I am working on a 1940 Ford Deluxe window regulator. I am trying to replace the window crank gear. I can remove 1 rivet not the other 2. Anyone has any ideas

Could drill a small hole through the rivet releaving the pressure.

I know you would like to fix the original regulator, but to be honest you would be better of to find a NOS regulator or a good used regulator. There's plenty of them around. Check with Regulator Roy who advertises in the V-8 Times.
