Will a 1948 Mercury engine fit in a 1941 Ford pickup without a lot problems?

I have a 51 Mercury in my 40 pickup and it moves right along. I also have a Columbia 2 speed as well. What rear end is in it? Have fun.

There are a few Columbia experts around the country. If you added your general location to your profile someone might recommend somebody. Charlie Stephens This message was edited by CharlieStephens on 1-7-20 @ 11:34 AM

I'm in Reno, NV. I know that there is someone in N. Arizona, but I don't know of anyone closer.

If you are a V-8 Club member you might talk with Doug Clem who lives in Sparks, Nevada. He may have some suggestions for you. His phone # is in the V-8 Club roster.

Thanks, it will still be awhile before I am ready to tackle the Columbia, but I will check with him when I'm ready. Thanks again for all the info.
