I have a 46 Ford and the steering box has started to seep oil. I read in one of the V8 times that the person used 600wt and some STP to stem the leak. Is this still a good recommendation, or have things changed since 1978? What is the recommended grease (oil) to put in the steering box? Thanks and Merry Christmas.

Most are now using John Deere corn head grease. It's relatively cheap at your John Deere dealer and should stop the leak.
