Is there a way to tell if my pinion shaft is 6 spline or 10 spline without taking it all apart?

HI I think,,,,, if it has a grease fitting in the middle of the driveshaft it most likely has 6 splines, this is the solid drive shaft with a center bearing, no grease fitting it has the hollow drive shaft with 10 splines, I did this to my 37 about 7 years ago, installing a 354 gear ratio was not a fan of welding the 10 spline to 6 spline adapter to the hollow drive shaft. hope this helps 37Ragtopman the V8 SHOP has the high speed ring and pinons , they advertise in the V8 TIMES,
