Topic: chrome windshield frame

I am trying to remove (and replace) the exterior chrome frame around the windshield in my 1936 Cabriolet (fixed windshield, not hinged)

In previous postings about this, I am advised to remove screws to release the frame. But I am still uncertain where to find these screws. Are they under the rubber moulding on the inside of the windshield

I am reluctant to pull out the moulding until I am sure that is where to find the screws.

thanks for any advice

Big Job! about 14 screws around the perimeter of the inside face of the frame to the body with windshield rubber seal between the two. All the interior trim around the windshield has to be removed including metal, upholstery and the dash board. I believe the wood filler strips on the two sides also have to come out. If your car is finished lots of protective tape to prevent scratches. The location of the attachment screws can be seen on the replacement frame you want to install.
