Having difficulty removing key cylinder from my '34 pickup. Is there a "special" way to remove? I have to repair my remote control because I can not open door from inside. Any help would greatly appreciated. I do not want to damage the key cylinder and just "pull" out . Thanks' Henry Henry Bhotto1928@aol.com

Open the door and there is a small hole on the side of the door at the height of the lock cylinder. Usually there is a slotted set screw or it may be an allen head set screw to loosen and the cylinder can be removed. Add a little bit of penetrating oil to the screw before trying to loosen. If the screw is rusted in place it may take heat to loosen the set screw.
