I have searched this site, as well as others, to find out if there are any issues with using a C4 vs. a C4P filter in my '46 Deluxe. Out of the boxes they look very similar, but the C4P costs a bit more. Fram describes the C4P as a "stacked disc media filter". Is one any better than the other?

Not a difference your car (engine) will note. Now being a Fram vs. a Hastings, well, there's a difference. Fram is not the filter we "older boys" grew up with. Independent tests show Fram near the bottom in filtering capabilities. Is it "good enough"? Probably. In fact, I might even use one on one of these old Fords around here. On a modern car? No how, no way. Mike "Kube" Kubarth

What oil filter is better than a Fram for our cars? I want the best.

Wix is generally considered the best. NAPA Gold is made by Wix.
