What year car do you have? Sounds like you blew the fuse usually found under the dash....

1936 Ford 2 door sedan I only found 1 fuse yes under the dash

Yes, there is only that one fuse for the lights. Did you remove and test it? Is it open? Do you have a replacement fuse?....

I have found fuses that "look okay" and are actually bad.

You can say that again (just kidding). Every time I hit the return arrow on my tablet, it automatically adds a duplicate message. This is the only website where I experience this, and every time I come here, I forget and do the same thing. At least I'm consistent

Did you find a good fuse to install, and did the lights work again? Just wondering.

John
