  If anybody can't read your clock in the night because the light is so dim, here's how to fix it.:(1) Pop the front chrome case off.(2)Take the clock assy. out.-throw that plastic ring away.(That was for the old phosphorus paint which the sun ruined.) (3)Take your Dremel grinder and grind a semi-circle about 1/4"wide of that black edge in front of the light socket area that is blocking the light. Don't grind so far that you grind the clock face, just grind up to it.

I re-did what I wrote a thread about previously (a day or so ago) because I still wasn't satisfied with my results. I practiced several methods on junk clocks I had, and this is the result. LOTS OF LIGHT!!
