Ford blue , pretty good match is a "paint pen" made by Sharpie ,its like a magic marker only has paint in them. Availible at hobby stores or maybe a Staples store. ken ct.

I purchased blue decals for the bumper and hub caps sometime back. Do not recall the vendor; perhaps someone else does.

this is from a previous thread about using decals vs. painting Ford script... Jim did not make bumper scripts, so I bought some extra material and made some for the rear bumper and grille logo below the hood. _________________________________________________________ The guy who sells the decals is Jim Kirkpatrick,5173 Rocky Hill Rd. Glenville, Pa. 17329-9451 Ph# 717-235-1538. I don't think he has decals for every hubcap, but I have bought the ones for the 47-48 cap. They are very good quality. Vinyl letters are easily distinguished from paint, and are subject to a point deduction on the Concourse. Also it is something that could be easily removed. I would always be reluctant to do a modification to the car that would damage it and make it difficult to restore to original. Did Ford have elves painting the narrow V-8 in say, a 38 deluxe cap on the line? A vinyl stencil would do the trick nicely. As for the elves, I think they used a stencil with a spray gun. Back in the day, while playing hide and seek behind the wheels of cars, I remember seeing hubcaps with what appeared to be portions that were lightly sprayed. Alan
