Thank you everyone on this forum. I posted a few questions about my 1938 i.e. Bad coil and fuel pump. Anyway was able to find the nicest man, Richard Greene, from roster approx 15 miles away. He came picked the car up on his trailer and went all over It top to bottom. Got everything working. So thankful for all of you. Richard tried to go over the brakes but was having a hard time with the lug nuts. (Didn't want to snap anything) so I will work on that. Richard wouldn't take a cent for his labor. What a great man.

  Congratulations. Happy Vintage Motoring.

Ford people are the best. Please post some photos of your car.

I got my 1937 Ford running five years ago last week back in 2013.

It appears that the car had not been run in about 23 years ( I suspect it may have been longer than that ).

The smoke (marvel mystery oil) burned off and the car runs good.

Good luck with the car.
