I have a '37 ford 4-door and a friend has a shock kit , box says for 42 ford could anybody tell m e if it could be adapted to use on my '37 or would it be to much to make it work at all or not work at all?

I just got shock kits for my '37 Fordor & the "Fits List" on mine is as follows: Front kit: 1935-40 Rear kit: 1932-48
