Try using Google to find a picture. ford firewall picture There are a few out there -- There are small indents in the firewall that the dimples on the clip fit into. If I remember correctly, there is a D nut in the firewall panel.

Saw one of those gas line clamps on Ebay last night. Mine fastens with one large sheet metal screw (may or may not be OE).
