Is there a particular color/shade of black paint that is "correct" for the engine accessories on a '37 Ford 221 V8-85? I want to re-paint my plug wire looms while I have them off..., and would like to have the color correct as possible.

Use a single stage black enamel. The different shades of black can only be noticed when they are close to one another. Tom

Eastwood makes a close match. You can see their products on line by Googling their site. Ford use a paint called "chassis black". The shade varied as they simply added as they went.
