___Ok.., so I'm deturmined to add a PCV set up to my '37 V8-85. Have any of you guys used a riser with a vacuum port under a Stromberg 97 to run a PCV valve? If so..., how did it work out?

I haven't tried it but that is the same thing I purchased( but for a Holley 94) to use in my PCV system. I also picked up a PCV valve for a Jeep 4.0L engine as it sizes right for my Flathead. The usual reason for wanting to install a PCV system is excessive combustion fumes entering the inside of the vehicle from worn rings. Otherwise the stock ventilation system should handle it.
