I'm looking for the chrome trim on the hood of my 1938 Ford Tudor the trim is messed on the drivers side, does anyone have any trim. Thanks. -Keith

The ratcheting hood support on the '38 has been the downfall of most of the left side hood trim on the deluxe models. If you have a deluxe and need hood trim, you will be very fortunate to find a good one. As far as I know, it is not reproduced.

If you have the trim, but it needs repair you might try sending it to Turner's in Fresno, Ca. They repair stainless steel. Finding a driver's side hood stainless for a '38 is like trying to find rocking horse "road apples". If you do find one you will pay a HUGE price because it so rare.
