I want to install a tach in my 1939 P.U. The wires go to the + and - on the coil, I only see one wire coming out of the top of the coil where do I hook up the wires? The truck is all stock. Thank You.

If you have the coil mounted on top of the distributor, the condenser mount is the pick up point for the contact points. I do not know how your tach needs to be connected, but when I connect my dwell meter, the - lead goes to the condenser mount and the + lead goes to ground. Tom

I see the Sun tachs and senders at swap meets now and then. Most of us used them back in our hotrod days. They are excellent for 6 volt vehicles.
