Thanks everyone! I posted a video of the car on you tube. It runs and drives after being garaged since 1980. The car was bought in San Jose ca. I just can't believe the owner sold it to me if anyone needs pics on how it goes together let me know

I certainly hope you plan to preserve it in its present original condition! Anything done in the way of "restoration" destroys forever the originality, a most valuable asset that can never be recovered. The Early Ford V8 Club of America has a special award for such originals: The coveted Rouge Award is presented at National Meets of the club, held every year, usually in 3 different Regional locations. Do you have tag on the firewall with the number mine is 622 and there is some else in the club is in the 2000,, they made about 3000 in 39

The owners had a new DMV tag put on the car , they did give me the original certificate of ownership from 1939
