The oil relief valve plunger is held in place by the oil relief valve threaded plug. Is there suppose to be a gasket between the oil relief valve threaded plug and where it screws into the block. I thought I kept up with the parts when I removed them, but I could have lost the gasket.

There is no gasket for the V-8 engine. The 6 cylinder engine uses a gasket. Tom
