Guys- Need some help on this. What size is the thread for the pedal pad stud mount on the brake and clutch pedal arm? It seems to be close to a 1/2"-20, but not exact. Thanks Tom

If you are talking about the 33-34 it is 7/16-20. If it is the later cars, I can't help. Tom

I checked my '48 and got the same result you did. It's definitely an odd pitch thread. Maybe someone else has some input on this.

The threads on stud are the same, 32-48. Only the pedal pad design changed during those years. As Tom O stated, it is 7/16 by 20. Ford seemed to LOVE 7/16 fasteners, as they "ABOUND" in both coarse and fine thread on 32-48's. This message was edited by Stroker on 1-19-17 @ 2:09 PM

I agree on the 7/16X20, but I have seen some original pedal pads where the stud was tapered. The stud starts out at 7/16 but increases in size as it goes toward the pad. Almost like a pipe thread. Anyone ever see this besides me?

I just measured one and as you said, it measures 7/16 and tapers up to 1/2". The threads measure 18 TPI.
