I am currently restoring a 40 Ford coupe and am now working on the glass. Question I have is this......should I use a weatherstrip contact cement when installing the vent seal into the window frame???? I would think this would help hold the seal into place. Would a small bead along the seal channel be the right thing to do??? Thanks in advance for any toips on this procedure. Steve

No, Steve. The glass setting tape is all you need. Otherwise you will be in trouble if you ever have to replace the glass. Check Fordbarn also for replies.
