I have a transmission looks like a t59 but I don't know? Hooked up to a 1950 ford flathead v8 engine code B100! Picture is of the transmission code stamped passenger side.

If this is a truck 4 speed it most likely has a real low geared 1 first gear pretty useless in a pass except for pulling up stumps. ken ct.

Yep 1949 f-1 . Looks like it's not the original transmission as the transmission frame support has been torched to fit the mount.

01 T is a 1940 trans case used up to 47 in big trucks and in pick ups, just took one out of an original 1/2 ton 47

Does anybody know what the original transmission would be for a 1949 ford
F 1 , B100 engine code ? Picture of what they did to get the OIT transmission in years ago!
