Are the gas caps vented? My garage seems to have the scent of gas in it. Everything seems tight. Is this normal?

The gas caps are vented, but I would look carefully around the fuel pump and carburetor for signs of a leak. Also check the hose from the filler neck to the tank and the gas line from the tank to the firewall. Tom
